Mark Jackson is a goal-focused real estate attorney and general counsel, with over a decade of experience closing complex lease transactions and solving problems for large-scale mixed-use developments. As counsel to three of New York's most impactful mixed-use commercial districts — the Brooklyn Navy Yard, Two Trees' commercial properties, and Jamestown's Industry City — Mark has significant expertise in managing litigation, securing entitlements, negotiating with stakeholders, and overseeing nearly all other legal aspects of commercial real estate development and operations.
Prior to his legal career, Mark worked as a construction manager with the prominent real estate developer Lend Lease and served as a Peace Corps volunteer working on civic improvements and chess education in Marcala, Honduras. Mark lives in Brooklyn, New York with his wife and three kids, puts up a good fight on the chessboard, and commutes by bike whenever practical.
